Mighty Texas Dog Walk
The Mighty Texas Dog Walk is coming up this Saturday, March 5th! We did this last year and it was SO fun and adorable. The walk itself is about a mile and is kid friendly, too. All dogs must be on a leash and there is a strict one dog per human rule (meaning you can't walk more than one dog). You can register online here and choose a team if you want (we're walking on the BarkHappy team). If you want to pick up your registration packet early you can do so on Thursday March 3rd at the Petco on Great Hills Trail from 11-8, or the Petco on Brodie from 11-8 on Friday March 4th. I highly recommend you do this as the day-off is a bit chaotic. Plus it's $10 cheaper to register before the event! You can still register the day of the event, of course. The walk starts promptly at 10AM but festivities continue on until 2PM.
We'll be there bright and early on Saturday! The theme of the walk this year is Texas Pride, so dress accordingly! Think cowboy hats, blue bonnet stuff, etc. Freddy will be sporting his Texas bandana from Doggieville Boutique and a cowboy hat I made him (we'll see how long the hat lasts, my guess is not very).
